Ice Cream Social

The Knights of Columbus are hosting their annual Ice Cream Social on July 3rd. Come build your own sundae and stay to watch the city fireworks from the OLOL parking lot. Tickets will be on sale after all Masses this weekend.

Special Collection

St. Vincent de Paul is a non-profit society of volunteers generously supported by our fellow OLOL parishioners. Our ministry continues to help those less fortunate in our community with personal financial crises. Please consider supporting St. Vincent de Paul with a donation during our 5th Sunday of the month special envelope collection – June 29 & 30.

BRASS

The Knights of Columbus will host their 35th annual BRASS bike ride across Sumner County. Four rides, the 12.5K, 25K, 50K and 100K, will be offered and are intended for all levels of riders ranging from beginner to avid cyclist. All rides will start and finish at Our Lady of the Lake Church. New for this year is the 12.5k ride that will loop through Volunteer Park and the Arrowhead neighborhood. The 25k route will tour riders through the neighborhoods of Jones and Jenkins Lane and will loop back to the church after touring the Station Camp Greenway. The 50k and 100k will loop through Cottontown, with the 100k taking a longer loop to Portland and proceeding back to the church.

Pre-registration for the event can be found at www.active.com or day of registration will be available from 6:15am-6:45am. Until July 14th, entry prices are $40 a person, $90 for a family of 3, $105 for a family of 4 and $110 for a family of five. Entry fee will increase to $50 per person and $105 for a family of 3 and $115 for families with 4 or more immediately following. All pre-registered riders are guaranteed a t-shirt. T-shirts on race day will be as supply lasts for non- preregistered. The 100k and 50k will begin at 7:00am and the 25k and 12.5k will begin at 7:10am.

Are you interested in learning how to live a healthier lifestyle? We will have an Information Night about a 12-Week Weight Watchers program at Our Lady of the Lake on Thursday, July 11, at 5:30 PM in Rooms 206-207.
