How “virtuous” is your pandemic quarantine? If you are an introvert, you may be feeling more relaxed and happy within the walls of your home, but if you are an extrovert, you may be climbing those walls by now.
Try these tips from your health & wellness team:
• Spend one hour each day alone in a quiet place reading or praying. Matthew Kelly calls this “the school of silence.”
• Spend one hour each day with family or friends, even if it’s a virtual visit on Zoom.
• Try not to analyze the pandemic together but enjoy each other instead.
When you wake up tomorrow, ask yourself, “Who is God asking me to love in a better way today?” Do something nice for that person.
• When you go to bed tonight, thank God for today and ask for His help to be an even more loving person tomorrow.
• Finally, ask yourself, “Have I been a hope-filled and faith-filled and loving roommate today for others in my house?”
Virtue leads us to happiness, and our happiness is contagious. Let’s spread something good around our houses during our quarantine.
