Please pray for the repose of the soul of Ed Bruchas who passed away Friday. Ed and Irene, his wife of 67 years, were a founding member of OLOL, and Ed served on the steering committee. He was very active in the Knights of Columbus and was a consistent lector and commentator at 11 Mass. Ed was a veteran in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and served his country proudly in the Pacific theatre. He was a member of the VFW Post 9851. Ed was a salesman, and for many years sold real estate and also established and published the Real Estate Review. (Irene fell and broke her hip last week, had surgery last Wednesday, and is improving.)
There will be a drive-by visitation on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., Hendersonville Memory Gardens. The family will have a private graveside service and will plan a Memorial Mass at OLOL after the pandemic restrictions are lifted.
May the choirs of angels come to greet you; may they speed you to Paradise. May the Lord enfold you in his mercy; may you find eternal life. Amen.
