Sarah Kroger: Belovedness
|
TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR TOMORROW! We’re excited to welcome Catholic singer-songwriter Sarah Kroger for a special evening hosted by the sisters of our Fidelis ministry! All women of the parish are warmly invited to join us for a night of worship, prayer, and meaningful reflection.
Inspired by her beloved song “Belovedness,” Sarah’s new book invites you to discover the life-changing truth of who you truly are: loved, chosen, and fully known by God. Through relatable stories and gentle wisdom, she encourages us to let go of self-doubt and comparison, and to embrace our God-given identity. Come be refreshed, encouraged, and reminded of the beauty and freedom found in your inherent belovedness. You were uniquely created to live boldly and authentically, just as you are.

Congratulations, Fr. Gilstrap!
|
On Thursday, we joyfully celebrate the 10th anniversary of Father Gilstrap’s ordination to the priesthood! Ordained on June 12, 2015, at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, Father Gilstrap has spent the past decade faithfully serving God’s people. We give thanks for his generous “yes” to the priesthood and for the many ways he continues to lead, teach, and draw our parish family closer to Christ. May God bless him abundantly in the years to come!

This summer, we are excited to welcome Deacon Christian Hamrick to Our Lady of the Lake. As you see him around, be sure give him a big OLOL welcome!
A Nashville native, Deacon Hamrick is a son of St. Edward parish. After his reconversion to the faith and graduation from Father Ryan High School, he entered the seminary for the Diocese of Nashville. Having done priestly formation in Ohio and Texas, Dcn. Hamrick has spent the last four years in Rome at the Pontifical North American College, where he will return after his priestly ordination this August. He has done pastoral work all around the Diocese and in Europe and is looking forward to his summer at Our Lady of the Lake. He enjoys joyful friendships, good food, and even better conversation!
