Urgent Help Needed for Room in the Inn!
Room in the Inn urgently needs your support to continue serving our unhoused neighbors. Please consider helping with one of the following critical needs:
1. Food Donation Volunteers
– We need volunteers to provide meals for the remainder of the season, with an immediate focus on December and January. Please sign up through our SignUp Genius: https://tinyurl.com/5n8zd8zf
2. Bus Drivers
– We urgently need CDL drivers with a P endorsement to drive on Sunday nights and/or Monday mornings. Contact Jason Knight at 615-710-5204 or email ololriti@gmail.com.
3. Inn Keepers
– We currently have no volunteers for Inn Keeper shifts on 12/29/24. If we don’t fill this role, we’ll be forced to cancel. Other upcoming needs include 1/5/25, 1/19/25, 2/9/25, 3/2/25, and 3/30/25. Inn Keepers must be male, age 18+.
Our ability to continue offering hot meals, warm beds, and support to our unhoused neighbors depends on our assistance. Please help us meet these urgent needs by donating or volunteering. Thank you for your generosity and commitment to serving our community!

This week, we wish a fond farewell to beloved staff member, Rhonda Wigger, as she embarks on an exciting new chapter — becoming a full-time grandmother to her beautiful grandchildren! For 16 wonderful years, Rhonda has been a cornerstone of Our Lady of the Lake, sharing her genuine kindness and unwavering dedication. She has truly been a blessing to this parish. While we will miss her presence every day, we are excited that Rhonda will continue to serve our community as a devoted volunteer. God bless you, Rhonda, and thank you for all the love and care you’ve given to Our Lady of the Lake!

Consecration to the Holy Family
|
Families today face many challenges, but with Christ’s truth and peace, they can experience deep joy and love. In this spirit, the Knights of Columbus invite all parish families to participate in the “Consecration to the Holy Family” on Sunday, December 29th. To help prepare, prayer cards will be available in the Narthex at all Masses on December 22nd and 29th. Families are also encouraged to fast from something meaningful for at least a week before the consecration. Let us come together, entrusting our families to Jesus, Mary, and Joseph as we strive to live as beacons of God’s love.
