As human efforts fail to solve America’s key problems, we turn to God through His Holy Mother asking for His urgent help. Join us on October 12th for the annual Fatima Rosary Rally, held in conjunction with the 40 Days for Life campaign. Everyone is invited to gather at the Memorial Park Fountain at 151 E. Main Street in Hendersonville to pray the rosary together.

Father Gilstrap is facilitating a Mother’s Silent Retreat, “Mother Like Mary,” October 18-20 at the beautiful Bethany Retreat Center in Dickson, TN. All mothers of the parish are invited.

The Room in the Inn winter shelter program is beginning preparation for the new winter season, which starts November 3rd. The signup genius links to volunteer are on the parish website. We are currently accepting applications for families experiencing financial hardship and seeking assistance with Christmas gifts. Please stop by the front office or the Hispanic office to pick up an application for your children (ages birth to 17). We also accept applications for seniors (60+) who may be in need during the Christmas season. Applications are due by 11/11/2024.
Volunteers are needed to sign Angels out before & after Mass in November.

Join us for our 5-week class that merges faith with art. Each week, we will reflect on a scripture through Lectio Divina, engage in a brief journaling exercise, and create a unique art journal page using various mixed media such as inks, markers, watercolors, and pastels. Come and discover the joy and delight of creating meaningful art alongside other fun and faith filled women! No art experience needed. All art supplies and instruction included.
10 am – 11:30 am
$30 for 5 classes
$10 for art journal or you may bring your own.

Are you interested in learning how to live a healthier lifestyle? We will have an information night about a 12-Week Weight Watchers program at OLOL on Thursday, October 10, at 5:30 PM in room 206. For more info, please contact John Bertotti at 615-925-9171. Meetings will be held on Thursday nights.

Celebrate our annual Octoberfest on Sunday, October 20th, from 12 to 4 PM in the Bevington Hall parking lot! Enjoy a lively afternoon filled with delicious food, great music, refreshing beer, and a variety of fun activities for kids. This year we are providing brats, sides, fresh pretzels and ice cream! We ask that each family bring a dessert to add to our “Harvest Bounty” table to share with parishioners.

SAVE THE DATE!! Our annual Trunk or Treat is planned for October 26th from 6-8 PM in the St. Joseph Hall parking lot. This is always a fun event and is open to the community. Come enjoy spooky tunes, food trucks and all the sweet treats your bag can handle.

- ROSARY RALLY: October 12 at 12:00 pm at Planned Parenthood
- JERICHO MARCH: October 26 at 12:00 pm where we march 7 times around Planned Parenthood.
- CLOSING: November 3 at 2:00 pm starting with Lift High the Cross Procession from the Cathedral of the Incarnation back parking lot to Planned Parenthood for Stations of the Cross
