Ash Wednesday Mass

We will celebrate Ash Wednesday on February 22nd and will offer the following Masses along with distribution of ashes:

6:30 AM (no homily or music) · 9:15 AM · 6:30 PM · 8:00 PM in Spanish. Live stream will be available at 9:15 AM and 6:30 PM. The Ash Wednesday collection will go to Our Lady of the Lake’s

St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Stations, Soup & Speakers

We hope you will make plans to join us every Friday during Lent for “Stations, Soup & Speakers.” This Friday, Father Gilstrap and the Young Adults Ministry will lead the Stations of the Cross at 6:30 PM followed by a vegetarian meal in Bevington Hall. One of our Seminarians, William Rocha, will lead a 30 minute meditation on “Finding Refuge in Mary.”

Into the Breach

This program for men will meet for 6 weeks on Tuesday’s starting February 21st in room 217 at 6:30 PM.

In his Apostolic Exhortation Into the Breach, Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted outlines the challenges faced by men of faith in the world today. Into the Breach is a call to battle for Catholic men which urges them to wholeheartedly embrace masculine virtues in a world at crisis. By reading and discussing Bishop Olmsted’s inspirational words and the accompanying study guide with like-minded men of faith, councils will prayerfully examine the enormous breach in the battle line that lies before them. In doing so, they will begin to devise a personal plan of spiritual battle.
